Sally Beers is the owner and founder of Pattern-Design.com, LLC. For the last 15 years the firm has provided fit consulting and pattern making services to a diverse client base including major international brands like the Gap, Banana Republic and Eileen Fisher; high-visibility niche marketers like Blue Ginger, Passion Bait, Sense and Ardney; and leading designers like Victor Alfaro, Alpana Bawa, and Gabrielle Hamill. She brings to the firm over 30 years of industry experience in design, draping, pattern making, grading, and all aspects of apparel design and production involving women's and men's sportswear and outerwear and women's innerwear. Sally is skilled in both traditional manual pattern making as well as computer-based systems including Gerber and Microdynamics. With a pool of experienced professionals utilizing Gerber work stations Pattern-Design provides services to clients both in person and over the internet.

Prior to forming Pattern-Design Sally worked professionally as a pattern maker for Jones NY. She was hired as one of a team of four to start a denim division for Jones working under the direction of Jacki Nemerov. She was later employed by VF's $50 million Barbizon division as head of production pattern making for their high end lingerie label. Her responsibilities included restaffing, fitting of first and production styles, patterns, grading, grading of embroideries and laces as well as special promotions for QVC.

Sally also has owned and operated her own label as Sally Beers and S. Beers, Inc., a manufacturer of women's sportswear selling to major department and specialty stores in the U.S and Japan, including Bendels, Barney's, Bloomingdales, Sak's, Pat Field, and Seibu. She directly managed all aspects of the firm from concept to production, designing and merchandising 4 collections a year. Sally worked with domestic and foreign mills and manufacturers in advanced textile and production techniques. For S. Beers she produced 10 fashion shows and 11 videos. Her designs were covered in WWD, Vogue, Mademoiselle, Elle, Details, the New York Times, and featured on National Television. In 1990 she was selected as one of five emerging U.S. designers by the City of Tokushima, Japan, and her work was presented in a runway show and awards ceremony in Tokyo which was covered by the Japanese National Press and Television. Sally has also worked as a designer for Gloria Vanderbilt Leatherwear, Siena, GIII and others.

Sally studied fashion design at New York City's Parson's School of Design, earned a BA at City College, and studied commercial design at the School of Visual Arts. She studied draping with noted designer Miguel Ferraras who was a draper and pattern maker for Balenciaga and Charles James.
